WHAT WE SUPPORT
Grants to Support Projects
We encourage project grants applications that support the following priorities:
New initiatives or pilot programs;
Special projects or enhancements of current projects and programs;
Impact-studies or evaluations of current programs; or
Organizational capacity building.
Grants to Support Early Childhood Education Providers The Foundation prioritizes project-based funding proposals that support the following:
Quality improvement initiatives
Expanding access (particularly for low-income families)
Projects may include staff and/or professional development, child and program assessment systems, curriculum development or scholarship and tuition assistance for low-income families.
Unrestricted funding for organizational capacity building will also be considered if there is a clear understanding for how funding will support overall programmatic quality.
Grants to Support General Operations
The Foundation typically reserves unrestricted grants for currently funded organizations or by invitation. However, we recognize how important general operating funds are for organizations. Therefore, if you think your organization would benefit from unrestricted funding, rather than a project-based grant, please contact Foundation staff to discuss the proposal prior to submission.
